Funfest 2011 (Updated June 7, 2011)

Friday, August 5 (4:30 – 11:30 p.m.)

  • Famous Fish Fry 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.
    Fried and baked; mashed and french; cole slaw and salads; great desserts.
    All home-made in the funfest kitchens.
    Drive-thru pick up available.

  • Ron & Droopy Acoustic Live 4 - 7 p.m.
    Starting off Funfest Friday we have a duo who are no strangers to
    South Milwaukee. Droopy has been performing at funfest for 10+ years
    and will start off 2011 with a great show featuring music from the
    80's through today.
    Hits from: Foo Fighters, 3 Doors Down, Prince, Alabama, Train, U2,
    Rhianna, John Mayer, Katy Perry and The Eagles just to name a few.

  • 5 Card Studs 7:30 - 11:30 p.m. Main Stage
    The 5 Card Studs are a unique blend of big-time Las Vegas attitude
    and '70's lounge/wedding singer' veneer.

Saturday, August 6 (Noon – 11:30 p.m.)

Family Fun Day

  • Mostly Water Noon-3:30 p.m.
    A 5 Decade Variety Showcase:
    Mostly Water was formed in 2008 and features
    a wide variety of music from the last five decades. Rock and Roll, Mo town,
    R&B, Blues, Swing, Country, and more. The band features two female vocalists,
    a brass trio, keys, bass, drums and two guitar players.

  • Element 13 4-7:30 p.m.
    Young, energetic and talented, Element 13 is Milwaukee's Hottest Cover Band
    playing over 4 decades of music ranging from Rock, Pop, Country and more.

  • The Toys 7:30- 11:30 p.m. Main Stage
    For the 12th year in a row, The Toys brings their high-energy show to funfest.

Sunday, August 7 (Noon – 8 p.m.)

  • Polka Mass, College Avenue site 11 a.m.
    Annual south-side tradition celebrated at FunFest.

  • Bystanders 1-4:30 p.m.
    The Bystanders take the songs you know to melodic places you wouldn't expect
    - especially from a local act. Amazing vocal duo of Michael Henszey and Carmen Nickerson.

  • Roasted Chicken Dinner Starts at noon – until sold out
    Roasted on an outdoor spit, fun fest chicken dinners sell out every year.
    Drive-thru pick up available.

  • Pinstripe 4-8 p.m.
    Three artists from the Toys perform as a trio with an extensive song selection
    from rock to pop with a bit of country in between!

  • Silent Auction Closes 5 p.m.
    Winners can pick-up their items.

  • Cash Raffles Winners announced 8 p.m. on stage
